Nocturnal Bliss: Serenity Under the Full Moon

There’s something magical about a full moon hanging over the ocean; I captured a moment of quiet beauty on a night so dark the nocturnal bliss felt infinite. This photograph paired with my poem, Serenity, is an invitation to pause and embrace the quiet moments that bring peace to the soul.

Serenity

Like the profundity of the cobalt blue sea, the midnight sky surrounds Mother Earth in the stillness of the night. Like the moon blood-red moon that beams its heavenly fire on unsuspecting souls the trumpet's voice cries out to be heard, understood. Together they clash; one overpowering the other until reason or exhaustion takes hold. Contemplation, quiet thought there is hope. Like ebony and ivory in symphonious agreement the two become one.
